Green Hydrogen: Resources Consumption, Technological Maturity, and Regulatory Framework

چکیده
Current climate crisis makes the need for reducing carbon emissions more than evident. For this reason, renewable energy sources are expected to play a fundamental role. However, these not controllable, but depend on weather conditions. Therefore, green hydrogen (hydrogen produced from water electrolysis using energies) is emerging as key carrier solve problem. Although different properties of have been widely studied, some aspects such and footprint, well technological development regulatory framework in parts world analysed depth. This work performs data-driven analysis three pillars: maturity, technology. Results will allow evaluation deployment, both current situation expectations. Regarding lower that other fossil fuels competitive with types hydrogen, while footprint higher fuels. Additionally, results show fully developed there great inequality legislation regions world.

A Maturity Model for Green ICT: The Case of the SURF Green ICT Maturity Model
This paper discusses the development and evaluation of a maturity model for Green ICT. We describe how the model was developed with the input of a number of Green ICT experts before it was released to the general public. The model consists of three domains with attributes on Green ICT that encompass both Greening of ICT as well as Greening by ICT. The quality of the model and its accuracy to ca...
متن کاملGreen IT Maturity: developing a framework based on practices and actions
In a society whose issues related to sustainability have become increasingly important, the IT area has been responsible for some of the environmental problems that society faces. In this context, Green IT appears as a way of combining available resources to sustainable and economic policies in organizations, generating benefits for the environment and business. The adoption of Green IT practic...

Conflicts between optimality and sustainability are typical in the literature on sustainable development. Using the ‘‘capital-resource’’ growth model, Pezzey and Withagen (1998, Scandinavian Journal of Economics 100 (2), 513–527) have proved that if natural resources are exhaustible, the time-path of consumption is single-peaked, declining from some point in time onwards. This paper extends the...
متن کاملEnergy consumption , technological progress and economic policy ∗
We rst provide an empirical study of the energy-saving technological progress on the ENERDATA database. Energy intensity is shown to decrease over the period 1971-1999 in OECD countries, indicating a signi cant energy-saving technical progress trend. We also show via semi-parametric partially linear estimations that: (i) this trend is positively correlated with the investment rate, and (ii) the...
متن کاملTechnological Growth, Asset Pricing, and Consumption Risk
In this paper we develop a theoretical model in order to understand co-movements between asset returns and consumption over short and long horizons. We present an intertemporal general equilibrium model featuring two types of shocks: "small", frequent and disembodied shocks to productivity and "large" technological innovations, which are embodied into new vintages of the capital stock. The latt...
